WELLINGTON CENTRAL: THE BOND

The Bond Bar was the old Love Locks Sports Bar in Wellington Central. We basically started from scratch by raising a part of the flooring two steps higher, installed columns and arch ways and made square grids that were screwed to the ceilings with decorative wall paper put between each one. We also cut square frames out of marine ply and recessed it back into the walls which were then installed all around the bar. Kwilla decking was stripped down and installed as flooring around the bar. A template was made around the top of the bar where we had copper sheeting folded around and put over top of what was the old concrete bar top. The bar was finished off nicely with old retro style carpet and awesome paint work.
